Dear, Everyone who needs SEGVOR I am very pleased to know that you are interested in my SEGVOR, a fortran program for constructing the Voronoi diagram of line segments. I can send you a manual and sources files by airmail and e-mail. Of course e-mail is quicker and easier, but the only problem is their size. Svsource (187278 bytes) is the uuencoded compressed tarfile of all source and manual files. You can see in the manual some notes on what users should do. I can send by e-mail svsource with the way to get back sources and manual as long as there are no narrow channel between you and me such as phone lines or so. I can also send by airmail all source and manual files in a floppy disk with a printed manual. The default is a 2DD floppy disk (720KB) and all files are uncompressed. So far, anonymous ftp is not available. I hope I can contribute your research by SEGVOR. There are some remarks on the latest version of segvor: 1. Segvor still has quite many switches and messages for debugging, which may irritate users. It is an "beta"-version. 2. Segvor guarantees Voronoi diagram as planar graphs under any errors of floating point number calculation. It never fails. 3. Segvor requires completely separated segments as inputs, which means a set of polygons are NOT allowed as an input. A program called PLVOR will be available which allows an input set of points, (separated) segments, segment-chains and polygons. (The format of inputs file will be changed.) 4. Segvor can treat inputs of at most about 10000 segments. (Users can extend the maximum number of input segments.) Sincerely. --------------------------- Toshiyuki Imai, address: Research Assistant Hongo 7-3-1, Bunkyo-ku, Department of Mathematical Engineering Tokyo 113 Japan and Information Physics Faculty of Engineering e-mail: University of Tokyo imai@simplex.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp
